A bilateral meeting between the delegations of the Ministry of Interior of the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman discussed ways to enhance the existing cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the police and security fields, and to stand up on developments in linking the traffic systems system between the two brotherly countries, the UAE Ministry of Interior said.
The UAE delegation to the bilateral meeting, which was held in Abu Dhabi, was headed by Brigadier General Engineer Hussain Al Harthy, Director General of Smart Services and Digital Security at the Ministry of Interior, while the Omani delegation was headed by guest Brigadier Nasser bin Salem Al Hosani, Director General of Communications at the Royal Oman Police.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues and files that enhance coordination between the two countries, including the bilateral linkage project between traffic systems within a Gulf technical project that enhances joint cooperative action between the GCC countries.
These periodic bilateral meetings between the Ministries of Interior of the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman are part of continuous efforts to advance bilateral relations in order to achieve the ambition and aspirations of the leadership of the two brotherly countries and the interests of the peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council, according to the Ministry.
