FIFA (Federation of Internaional Football Association) has announced the top goal scorers in its 2022 World Cup which kicked-off in Qatar and now in its top end.
Accordingly, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe lead the race for the adidas Golden Boot, according to the FIFA (Association news), however, Julian Alvarez and Olivier Giroud are only one goal chasing them behind.
The Golden Boot will be awarded to the player who scores the most goals at Qatar 2022. If two players are equal, the one with the most assists will win it. If two or more players are still equal, the one who has played the fewest minutes will triumph, said the FIFA.
