The Federal Traffic Council, in its meeting chaired by Brig. Gen. Eng. Hussain Al Harthy, Chairman of the Council and in the presence of all members, discussed a number of development projects and proposals that would contribute to improving and enhancing the traffic environment on the roads.
It also approved the site and activities for the celebration of the Gulf Traffic Week 2023, said the Interior Ministry.
In its first meeting of 2023 held in Dubai, the council discussed a number of important traffic issues, including a study and analysis of the speed margin through extensive discussion with the concerned authorities and proposals, including the addition of a number of traffic legal provisions, according to the ministry of interior.
Furthermore, the visitor services package for the UAE, which is part of the proactive services, was also discussed.
The Council also approved the plan to celebrate the Gulf Traffic Week under the slogan “Your Life is a Trust”, expected to be held in the Global Village in Dubai, it said.
