It’s time to kick cheque books to the kerb when paying your monthly bills in Dubai as the UAE Central Bank (CBUAE) has announced a Direct Debit Marketplace.
A first for the UAE, the marketplace can be accessed via UAEPASS and is the easiest way to make regular monthly payments.
All payments made through the system will be super safe for users, our colleagues at Arabian Business report, after seeing an email statement CBUAE.
User data will be behind government firewalls and systems making it a worry-free option for those who wish to simplify paying bills.
Bring on paying monthly expenses such as rent, school fees, insurance, gym memberships and more with ease.
The Direct Debit Marketplace follows on from the news in Febraury that Dubai rent can now be paid by by direct debit.
Dubai Land Department (DLD) confirmed the new rental payment structure in a circular.
The simplified way of paying is run by the Noqodi Ejari Direct Debit Service (DDS) and the Direct Debit System (UAEDDS) provides you with an automated payment method – overseen by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).
