The UAE knows how to put on a firework display and, of course, it was no different on New Year’s Eve.

Ras Al Khaimah is now the holder of two new Guinness World Records after putting on a first-class show.

Across the country, the skies were illuminated by several shows that saw sparkles and glitter fizz high in the clouds to mark the start of 2023.And in true UAE style, a couple of world records were bagged as a result.

As for the titles, RAK took the crown for the largest number of operated multi-rotors/drones with a simultaneous firework display by putting on one awesome show using 671 operated drones.

The second title tied down in RAK was the largest aerial sentence formed by multirotors/drones. As for other highlights, of course, the show at Burj Khalifa made headlines as it dazzled to ring in the New Year.
