Dubai International Airport now has passport control lanes and counters exclusively for children.
The city’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) announced the introduction of the passport control for four to 12-year-olds.
Located at Terminal 3 of the city’s international airport, the new passport facilities are ideal for families looking for a different travel experience.

The GDRFA announced the new passport and check-in options for children in a message posted on social media.
While many travellers are looking forward to a future of biometric technology, children will be offered to stamp their own passports at their own dedicated check-in area.
The GDRFA also unveiled the mascots Salem and Salama, who will welcome young travellers on special occasions.
